LEGAL HEADQUARTERS
As stated in the By-Laws of the Panamerican Academy of Engieneering in the Article 3 " The legal headquarters of the Academy should preferably be those of UPADI, unless a Plenary Ordinary Session resolves to change them on the basis of a proposal submitted to them by the Board of Directors ".
Since year 2000 and up to year 2008 the UPADI Legal Headquarters are located in the Brasil National Member, FEBRAE in the city Río de Janeiro. UPADI moved his offices to Costa Rica , in December 2008. The Board of Directors discussed the advisability of maintaining the headquarters in Brazil . This continuity was accepted by FEBRAE and formally approved in a Plenary Extraordinary Session.
