Pan American Academy of Engineering
The Academy meets every two years in Plenary Ordinary Sessions coinciding with UPADI Conventions.
Full Members have the obligation of attending Plenary Sessions. Their unjustified absence at two consecutive Sessions or their absence at four successive Sessions, although justified, implies their loss of Membership.
Full and Corresponding Members must pay an Annual Fee for membership and lack of payment during two successive years means their membership has expired.
The executive authority of the Academy is the Board of Directors formed by; President, two Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, two Directors and two Alternate that last two years in duty. They must meet once a year when the President summons them or at the request of half of its members.
The Election Committee analyzes and proposes the acceptance of new Academicians. It is formed by three Members and three Alternates all of them Full or Emeritus Members.
An Auditing Committee of two Members, one Academician and the other appointed by UPADI supervises the economic-financial operation, the properties and the patrimony of the Academy.
The Consulting Council will be formed opportunely, with all the Past Presidents that are still Members of the Academy.
