TITLE I CREATION, LINKS AND LOCATION

TITLE V RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF THE MEMBERS
Article 13 Charter Academicians have the following rights and duties:
Rights
13.1 To be elected member of the Board of Directors.
13.2 Attend the Plenary Sessions with voice and vote.
13.3 Voice written opinion on the subjects included in the Agenda of the Plenary Sessions.
13.4 Receive information, documentation and publications of the Academy.
13.5 Represent the Academy in his/her place of residence or in any other place should the Board of Directors request him/her to do so.
13.6 Submit reports, give conferences and public presentations in the Academy on the occasion of the Plenary Sessions, with previous agreement with the Secretary on the manner and opportunity to do so.
Obligations
13.7 Personally attend the Ceremony of Incorporation at which he or she shall receive the attributes of a Charter Member.
13.8 Attend the Plenary Sessions.
13.9 Vote to elect new Charter and Corresponding Members.
13.10 Present a paper of which he is author at the Solemn Ceremony of Incorporation or in Forums, Congresses or Seminars of the Academy or UPADI.
13.11 Form part of and participate in the meetings of Delegations or Chapters, divisions, sections, specialized institutes, commissions and committees created by the Academy.
13.12 Inform the Academy through its President or Secretary of any discovery, research or event in which he or she participated or has knowledge of
13.13 Propose to the Board of Directors declarations, recommendations or opinions.
13.14 Pay the Initial Incorporation Fee and the membership dues established by the Plenary Session, during the first quarter of the year.
13.15 Keep his/her Curriculum Vitae updated and registered in the Academy and inform on any change of postal address, e-mail or telephone number.
13.16 Submit annually, within the two months following the end of the year, an Annual Report of Activities.
Article 14 Corresponding Academicians have the following rights and obligations:
Rights
14.1 Receive by mail the Diploma that accredits his/her condition as Corresponding Member, if he or she should not be able to participate in the Ceremony of Incorporation.
14.2 Participate in the Plenary Sessions with voice.
14.3 Receive information, documentation and publications of the Academy.
14.4 Represent the Academy in his/her home country and in any other place should the President so request.
14.5 Submit reports, give conferences and public presentations in the Academy on the occasion of the Plenary Sessions, with previous agreement with the Secretary on the manner and opportunity to do so.
14.6 Submit papers at Forums, Congresses, Seminars and Symposiums of the Academy.
14.7 Participate with voice in meetings of divisions, sections, specialized institutions, commissions and committees created by the Academy.
14.8 Propose to the Board of Directors, declarations, recommendations, and opinions.

Article 15 Honorary Academicians shall have all the rights corresponding to the Charter Academicians, except for the right to vote and to form part of the Board of Directors or of the Delegations or Chapters of the Academy. They are not obliged to take part in the Sessions nor to pay fees or contributions of any kind.
Article 16 Emeriti Academicians shall have all the rights of the Charter Academicians,. They may form part of the Board of Directors and of the Delegations or Chapters, in which case they are obliged to participate in the Plenary Sessions of the Academy. This obligation as well as the payment of membership fees, shall not be applicable to the Emeriti Academicians who do not hold positions in the Board or in the Election Committee.
