Currently, is the President of the General Association of Engineers in Romania, Vice-President of the Academy of Technical Sciences in Romania, President of the Foundation for Quality J.M.Juran. Has been General Manager, Railway Traffic and Transport Plan, 1961-1962; Deputy Minister and General Manager, Transport and Telecommunications Ministry, 1962-1972; and then General Manager of the Electronic Calculus Center, 1972-1989. At present, head of 2 projects of national interest and co-ordinating of collective’s Polyglot Explanatory Dictionary of Transports Field - in process of realization.
Fellow Professor at the Polytechnica University in Bucharest, Transports Faculty, Honorary Professor of the Polytechnica University in Timisoara.
Published the book "Landmarks of Romanian Engineering": Articles on technical and scientific considerations on management, reorganization, privatization, quality, and continuing education. Over 40 specialized published works in Romania and foreign countries, 60 works of retrospective analysis, history of technique, orientation, expectation and attitude. President of editorial staff of specialized review.
Member of the Academy of Technical Sciences in Romania, the Academy of Scientifics in Romania and the Society of Engineers in Transports. Distinctions awarded by
Presidency, the Romanian Government and scientific institutions.
