General Director of Cooperation in the Tunisian Office of Waste Water Management: 1998-2001. Also Technical Director, 1992-1998. President of the Tunisian Order of Engineers: 1998-2002. Also Secretary General, 1990-1998. Chairman of the WFEO standing Committee on Information and Communication. Member of the Tunisian Economic and Social Council 1999-2005
Long experience and expertise in Managing waste water projects. Long experience in conducting global studies and research in: Environment, Engineering education and training, Technical studies in civil engineering, Economical studies, studies on Information and communication. Long experience in organizing international events: Having organized more than 40 international seminars and congresses. Lecturer and key note speaker in more than 70 national and international events in different countries. Long international experience: Member of the United Nations Task Force on Science and Technology for the Millennium Development Project; Member of the International Civil Society Bureau of the UN World Summit on the Information Society representing the scientific and Technological Family. Long experience in editing technical and scientific magazines and newsletters. Long experience in communication and networking.
Provided expertise for several African countries in waste water management and sanitation (Senegal , Burkina Faso ,Yemen, Mauritania). Design and implementation of a global project aiming at enhancing the Women in Science, Engineering and Technology in North Africa and Middle East countries
Editorial Director of the following magazines and Newsletters: “Revue de l’Ingénieur”, bilingual in-house magazine of the Tunisian Engineering Society from 1990-2002; ”Le bulletin de l’ingénieur”, bilingual in-house newsletter of the Tunisian Engineering Society from 1990-2002; ”Infogineer”, bilingual in-house newsletter of the WFEO standing Committee on Information and Communication from 1999-2005; The WFEO News letter, electronic bulletin launched in February 2005.
